Dr. Heba Abdel Galil

Co-founder and Director of Capital Professional Development

Born and raised in the pearl of the Mediterranean Alexandria, Egypt. Heba received her education at the English Girls’ College (E.G.C) currently known as El Nasr Girls College. She then joined the Faculty of Arts English Department, Alexandria University where got her B.A and pursued most of her graduate studies.

She completed part of her graduate studies in California State University, LA. Her passion for applied linguistics, teaching methodology, assessment and career development led her to be the former assistant director for Middlebury College Arabic Program in VT, USA.

Heba has worked as a technical consultant and trainer for over 20 years with multiple donors and entities in and outside of Egypt; the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), USAID, UN…etc. She trained over 10,000 teachers from public and private sectors nationwide.

She teaches applied linguistics and translation in Alexandria University and Pharos University and has contributed and presented in various conferences and summits and won TOEFL Board Award for International Participation in TESOL in 2001-2002 as the youngest international presenter at the time.

Heba was the Director of Notting Hill College in Egypt from April 2015 till May 2020. Currently she is the Co-founder and Director of Capital Professional Development.
